Habitación. Camas. Atención del personal de restaurante Momo, bufete y piscina
Hubo 2 cosas que definieron nuestra estancia. 1- Poca variedad de comida y lo que había era muy normal. Muy pocos restaurantes, solo 3. Mexicano horrible, italiano solo un poco mejor, pero claramente no cocinaba un chef italiano. Japonés salvó un poco más, pero muy normal. Digo para lo que pagamos, debió haber sido una experiencia perfecta. 2- Tuvimos un problema en el ingreso y parte del staff Carmen (Recepcion) y Reservas del hotel (Número de contacto), se portaron horrible. No tenían idea de cómo ayudarnos a solucionar el problema. Fue tan mala la atención y lo cerrado que estaban, que nos hicieron perder un día completo de vacaciones y dinero, ya que nos fuimos sin solución del hotel a reservar en otro, hasta poder resolver el problema. El tema es que con Booking lo pudimos resolver y volvimos en la noche al hotel Playacar y todos haciéndose los tontos. Increíble que nadie haya podido explicarnos bien un proceso tan fácil, fué antipática Carmen y hermética, para ella no existía solución para los de Resevas tampoco.

Amazing hotel great location for visiting Cenotes, Tulum, Cozumel and Akumol.
The hotel, staff and food were amazing, the whole family really enjoyed the stay. Pool Volleyball games were great fun and got us talking to other guests. Buffet and restaurant food all 5* especially liked Madre Mia with their own cocktail menu and interesting takes on local dishes.
They offered us a sales pitch in return for some vouchers which we spent on day trips, while the vouchers were much appreciated, they did go a bit hard sell on the membership with three different people trying to close the deal. We knew it wasn't for us (being a long haul flight away) so we weren't tempted although the last offer sounded reasonable. The evening entertainment program was a bit hit and miss, (possibly aimed at an older demographic). Circus show was very good, magic show was tired and tricks were obvious to anyone who was thinking about how they could be done.
